You've got to be quick...

There's a good article here that pretty much sums up an idea I had for a Google Wave based code reviewing tool.

Helder, to be honest has gone a lot further with the analysis of what's required and takes things a bit further than my concept of a code-based reviewing tool which I'll elaborate on shortly (at current rates of blogging, in about 18 months time).

Anyway, the point of this article other than trying to do something with this blog for the first time in 18 months? Simply that if you have an idea or an application nowadays, you've got to be bloody fast in getting it out there.

Hey! Thanks for the mention! :) About posting ideas, I also just recently started doing this (that was my first, actually). I usually waited until I implemented something before talking about it, but I don't have time enough to implement everything I think about, so I just decided to throw things out like that. That idea in particular is a pretty good one, but I guess it's not so original that other people wouldn't end up having it on their own (like we both did). It's just that there aren't that many people who know enough about Wave to make the connection yet.

But if you wanna help implement stuff, hey, you had the idea too, we can play together :) Do you have a wave sandbox account?

No problem!

I'd like to say I'd like to help implement things but knowing me I'd be wasting your time if I did - I'm just starting a new contract and trying to develop my own products and new lines of business so I've really got enough on my plate right now.

Re sandbox account - not got one. I was going to request one for my idea, but decided that it would be wasting someone else's potential app as I probably wouldn't make full use so gave it a miss.

I'll look in your site every so often to see how you're getting on.
